Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Kabul

Welcome to Afghanistan! Upon arrival in Kabul, transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, explore the bird market, Shah-Do Shamshira Mosque, and the Sakhi Shrine. Overnight: Kabul ( Khyber Hotel )

Day 2 – Kabul ➜ Bamyan

Drive through picturesque highlands to Bamyan. Visit the historic Buddha Niches, once home to two magnificent 6th-century statues destroyed in 2001. Overnight: Bamyan ( Noorbandqala Hotel)

Day 3 – Band-e Amir Lakes & Journey to Ghor

Marvel at the deep blue waters of Band-e Amir Lakes, Afghanistan’s first national park. Continue westward to Cheghcheran, the capital of Ghor province. Overnight: Cheghcheran ( local guesthouse )

Day 4 – Minaret of Jam & Return to Cheghcheran

Discover the UNESCO World Heritage Minaret of Jam, a 12th-century masterpiece rising dramatically in a remote valley. Return to Cheghcheran for the night. Overnight: Cheghcheran ( local guesthouse )

Day 5 – Cheghcheran to Bamyan

Enjoy the scenic journey back to Bamyan. We will visit some beautiful views along 9ur way and take some short stops . Overnight: Bamyan (Noorbandqala Hotel)

Day 6 – Bamyan to Mazar-e-Sharif

Travel across five provinces, passing through the Salang Tunnel with its spectacular mountain landscapes, before arriving in vibrant Mazar-e-Sharif. Overnight: Ghazanfar Hotel, Mazar-e-Sharif

Day 7 – Ancient Balkh & Shrine of Ali

Explore the ancient city of Balkh, once a center of Buddhism and Sufism. Visit Haji Piyada Mosque, Rabia Balkhi’s tomb, and Bala Hisar citadel. Return to Mazar to see the stunning Blue Mosque and shrine of Hazrat Ali. Overnight: Arsalan Hotel, Mazar-e-Sharif

Day 8 – Samangan & Return to Kabul

Visit the ancient Buddhist caves and stupas at Takht-i Rustam in Samangan, then return to Kabul. Overnight: Kabul ( Khyber Hotel )

Day 9 – Flight to Herat

Fly to Herat, the cultural jewel of western Afghanistan. Explore the lively bazaar, visit the Friday Mosque, and see traditional tile-making workshops. Overnight: Herat ( Amiri Hotel )

Day 10 – Herat Exploration & Drive to Kandahar

Visit Herat Citadel, the Musalla Complex, and the Jihad Museum. In the afternoon, see the shrine of Khoja Abdullah Ansari before driving toward Kandahar. Overnight: Kandahar ( Milat Hotel )

Day 11 – Explore Kandahar

Tour Kandahar’s highlights, including the Shrine of Ahmad Shah Baba, the sacred cloak of Prophet Muhammad, and the bustling crowned bazaar. Overnight: Kandahar ( Milat Hotel )

Day 12 – Kandahar to Ghazni

Drive to Ghazni, once an imperial capital. Explore the Bala Hisar fortress and the famous twin minarets of Ghazni. Overnight: Ghazni

Day 13 – Ghazni & Return to Kabul

Spend the morning visiting additional sites in Ghazni. Return to Kabul for dinner. Overnight: Kabul

Day 14 – Kabul City Tour

Explore Kabul’s old bazaar, the bird market, the Shah-Do Shamshira Mosque, and the British Cemetery. End the journey with a special farewell dinner. Overnight: Kabul ( Khyber Hotel )

Day 15 – Departure

Transfer to the airport for your international flight home, carrying memories of a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
